All are welcome. Based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda whose mission is, in his words,
“to awaken people to their need for Self-realization, through meditation, and in keeping good company, or fellowship, with other truth-seeking souls…to bring back to the world the original teachings and science of yoga as taught by Krishna, and the original Christianity of Jesus Christ.”
Sunday Service includes group chanting and a brief meditation ending with an affirmation. A reading from commentaries on scriptures of East and West create the theme for the minister’s inspirational talk. We conclude with A “Festival of Light” ceremony, thus creating the space to open your heart to the Divine within.
