“Your religion is not the garb you wear outwardly, the thoughts and beliefs in which you enclose yourself. Your religion is the garment of Light you weave around your heart.”—Paramhansa Yogananda

Every Sunday

10:00am – 10:40am  –  Purification Ceremony

10:45am – Noon  –  Sunday Service

Noon – Vegetarian Potluck Refreshments

The Purification Ceremony, as it is offered by Ananda, is a simple and meaningful ceremony. It was created through the inspiration of Swami Kriyananda, who saw the need for a ceremony that allows one to open one’s heart to the flow of God’s grace.

Sunday Service includes group chanting and a brief meditation ending with an affirmation. A reading from commentaries on scriptures of East and West create the theme for an inspirational talk. Also, we conclude with a “Festival of Light” ceremony, thus creating the space to open your heart to the Divine within.

We sometimes have an afternoon program on Sunday afternoons.  When these are happening, they will be listed on the calendar and also an email will be forwarded to those on our mailing lists.
