Next Course: To Be Announced
For anyone sincerely devoted in any field of study, the wisdom and guidance of one who has mastered their art is essential. Success depends on learning from those who have the insight and ability to guide our efforts ever-closer to our goals. This is especially true on the spiritual path. The Disciple-Guru relationship is one filled with deep inspiration, offering our lives a clear direction to focus our spiritual efforts.
This course is a part of the Path of Kriya Yoga and is for those who have completed the Ananda Course in Meditation and Living the Principles of Self-Realization, and are on the learning track to receive Kriya Yoga initiation.

What Does it Mean to Be a Disciple?

Through discipleship we are able to achieve a balance of self-effort and divine grace that is essential to spiritual progress. Swami Kriyananda shares insights into the importance and practice of the Guru-Disciple relationship. Through personal stories and reflection of his experiences with Paramhansa Yogananda, he helps prepare the student for a life of discipleship to a great Yoga master. If, after completing this course, you feel ready for this level of commitment, you may receive an in-person initiation into this line of Masters of Self-Realization.
When one has become a disciple the Aum Technique of Meditation is introduced. This technique helps one to listen within and be absorbed by the mystical sounds that emanate from the chakras, awakening divine qualities such as inner calmness, soul expansion, unconditional love and joy.
