TIME WITH THE MASTERS

Time with the Masters is like spending time with yourself…only better…because you are with both your ‘self’ and your Self!  Meditating in a group for a longer (than usual) period of time gives us not only ‘alone’ time with the Masters (because it is silent, inward and intimate) but also the group energy lends us support to keep us steady in our meditation.

Paramhansa Yogananda     Sri Yukteswar

In this month’s meditation of Time With The Masters we will be tuning-in to Paramhansa Yogananda and his Guru, Swami Sri Yukteswar. Both Masters entered Mahasamadhi on dates in March – Yogananda on March 7, 1952 and Sri Yukteswar on March 9, 1936.

Mahasamadhi is a perfected yogi’s final, conscious exit from the body as he merges with the Infinite. We will celebrate each of these two great Masters with chanting, flower* ceremony, a brief reading, and two meditation sessions with a break at about 2:40.

Afternoon program:  You are invited to join us for the whole session, or any part of it.

12:30 – Yogananda’s Energization Exercises – a guided session

1-2:40 – Chanting, flower ceremony for both Masters, brief reading and meditation on Yogananda

2:40 – short break

2:45-4 – Chanting, brief reading and meditation on Sri Yukteswar

*Bring a flower for each Master, or if you are unable to you may use one of ours.

No cost for this program.  However, Donations are appreciated.
